Our friends and fans really came through for us during the 4 day contest for MTV Iggy artist of the week. However, there was a glitch and the website’s polling service apparently didn’t recognize daylight savings time, which we must agree is really a pointless thing anyway. Regardless, the homepage feature on mtvmusic.com plus an mtv iggy interview went to a Chilean hip hop group, Como Asesinar a Felipes, even though we had the most votes by 12am EST (so close, yet so far away!).
My M.O. blow off their dead end jobs in the city, steal their bosses car and drive upstate to Woodstock. The band and their crew start a bonfire and reconnect with the forces of nature.
